Special community litter pick organised by Buckland Youth Club

Young people from the Base Youth Club volunteered to take part in a litter pick in Sandringham Park at their last session. The event was designed to encourage the young people to think about the importance of keeping their community tidy.

Emily Farrell, the CIC’s Business Manager commented that “we are so proud of our young people who really got stuck into clearing the litter from Sandringham Park. It was great to see them having fun, whilst taking care of their local environment. We hope to do more community activities in the future”.

The Base Youth Club is based at The Buckland Centre and meetings on a Friday evening from 6.00pm – 8.00pm. The Club is for ages 7 – end of year 7, and entry is just £1.
